# Bar Mitzvah Photographer in Boca Raton

Service, portraits and party, photographed by someone who knows the day

I'm Eric Goldstein, a bar and bat mitzvah photographer based in Boca Raton. I've photographed professionally in South Florida since 2012, and I cover services and celebrations across Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Parkland, Palm Beach County and Broward.

A mitzvah is one day with several very different parts: the Torah service, family portraits, the hora, candle lighting and a full reception. I know where to stand for each of them, and I know how to work inside a sanctuary without getting in the way of the service.

## How I work the day

Before the date I confirm the synagogue's photography rules and plan the formal portraits around them, often on a weekday before the service when the sanctuary is quiet. On the day I document the service the way the congregation allows, then move to the party, where the hora, the candle lighting and the dance floor get full attention. I shoot photo and video together if you want both, so there's one person to coordinate with.

## What's included

Full coverage of the service and the party, every image fully edited, a private online gallery your family can download from and share, and a print release. Galleries arrive in 3 to 4 weeks, usually 400 to 700 images.

## Common questions

### Do you photograph bar and bat mitzvahs in Boca Raton?

Yes. I'm based in Boca Raton and most of my mitzvah work is in Boca, Delray Beach and Parkland, with the rest across Palm Beach County and Broward.

### Can you photograph inside the synagogue during the service?

It depends on the congregation. Many allow photography from a fixed spot with no flash, some only at a rehearsal or a Thursday reading, and some not at all. I check the rules with your synagogue before the day and plan the portraits around them.

### How far ahead should we book?

6 to 12 months is typical, since dates are set well in advance. If your date is closer than that, reach out anyway.

### Do you also shoot video?

Yes. I can run photo and video at the same time, so one person covers the service, the portraits and the party.

### How many photos will we get, and when?

Usually 400 to 700 edited images, delivered through a private online gallery in 3 to 4 weeks, with a print release included.
